The Reason I Do What I Do

Here at Cryptogramophone we get mail...and phone messages...and demos, lots of demos. We listen to them and always respond as politely as possible. I've been on the other side of this equation, so I try to respond in the manner I would like to be responded to. However, every once in a while something come into our inbox that just needs to be shared.

First, here's a link to a phone message left on our voice mail. Adam, I don't know who you are, but please, call back and leave more messages.

And here's an email sent through our website from an aspiring Italian artist. I'm not sure which translating website he used, but it should be made mandatory in the United Nations.

I believe this says it all:

Expensive Cryptogramophone Records label compliments for you/it Your label of quality. Cheerful to listen Your sapper in musical croups diverge and of excellent artistic thickness, the undersigned, in different musical situations in the launch jazz festival Italian and in study of settings, has not still completed and propagated the exhibition of the Live settings or the works done in study. I would be thankful him/her/it if the Cryptogramophone Records is able think interesting or useful and eventually engrave my music free on behalf of Your label, in different croups and musical situations.
